Helpful staff. Great location!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location to see Edinburgh as all sights within walking distance.

The breakfast was the highlight of our stay! Absolutely fantastic! Choices, taste, and presentation were great. As for the property, the lobby is beautiful. The room was fine but the grout in the bathroom needs to be scrubbed. The room was carpeted so, safe to say, there were stains which made it look not so great. The bed and pillows were comfortable. However, one of our throw pillows had a hole and rip on the cover which was also kind of off putting. It was a bit weird having to pay extra for a robe and slippers but at least it wasn’t much. The staff were great and very helpful/accommodating at all hours. All in all, for the location and general aesthetic, we had a good stay.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location for visiting tourist sites, shopping areas & socialising, spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed & all the amenities you could wish for, loved the toiletries, the duck is a nice touch, water supplied in fridge appreciated as was the coffee and biscuits, all staff we met were friendly, good breakfast (full Scottish was tasty) but continental also provided, would recommend this hotel
