What an amazing location, right in the centre of Gruyere near the Castle.We had the attic apartment which was beautifully appointed and with amazing views of the Mountains . Best continental breakfast of the holiday. Good variety of restaurants on the street with local specialities which we made the most of!
The main street is closed to traffic from 9.30am so arriving mid afternoon it was a bit of a hike with the cases etc. In the morning we were able to get the car down before 9,30 and so that was a lot easier. Would have appreciated a handrail on the staircase leading up to the room. Not down to the hotel but beware- we had European adapters as we were also driving through France and Italy and hadn't realised that they didn't work in Switzerland

Lovely size room for an overnight stay in Gruyères.
Comfortable bed.
Good shower.
Perfect location.
Fabulous atmosphere in the restaurant when we were dining on fondue.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room.

What a nice hotel in an excellent old town. At the hart of the town with a great terrace. We had the Gruyere cheese fondue, which was excellent.
You have to be a little lucky with parking spot. Otherwise a firm walk from P2-3 to the hotel.

The location was stunning
The rooms were very basic. I also paid for three breakfasts on arrival. Later realised we had to leave before the breakfast opened at 8am. Tried to get it refunded and was told to come back in the morning but no one was there. I have emailed the hotel but had no response.
