LOCATION....this facility is literally on the San Marco square, across from the church and next to the Bell Tower, You had to go around the corner for breakfast to a sister hotel. The staff was helpful and given the limitations of Venice we were able to get the help we needed.

Cant be more central than this. Can walk everywhere from here. Room antique italian style.

Hotel advert shows sunlight views across square. We had a room looking out on delapidated alley with restaurant below. No view, noise all night from restaurant. At 4:00 new noise from Restaurant restocking for new day. Windows old single glazing. No sound proofing. Have to really search for electrical sockets in room for charging phones. Coffee machime whith two cheep capsules and 0.3 bottle of water. Minibar fridge with extra charge. Kitchen facilities in closet if you want to cook yourself (to be advised). Bathroom door handle broke could not open from inside. Reception on arrival couldnt care less. Main door to hotel locked at 23:00 no night rambling. Advertised included breakfast in room suddenly extra charge when you get there. Instead you have to go along square and look for another hotel of the chain where there is buffet breakfast. Hard to find as badly explained at own reception. Had to ask in another hotel whobtook us there. Plates at breakfast stank of fish not propperly cleaned and of course we came away with diarrhea from it for journey home. Bella Italia. Felt like it was a luxury hotel ran by asiand who were cheaping out where they could. No special guest feeling for price.
