A great place with everything you need while travelling. The location was very convenient, and we especially appreciated the laundry facilities, with both washing and drying available.
The shared kitchen was also exceptionally well equipped, with everything needed to prepare meals. A very practical, comfortable, and convenient place to stay on the road. Highly recommended!

Very close to the ocean. Location is good for getting around on the Westfjords.
Shared kitchen is spacious, and well equipped.
A natural hot pot is across the road and we also enjoyed the hot pot on site. The guesthouse has a laundry machine.

It was very clean and had everything we needed. Apart from us, only two other rooms were occupied. Using the shared kitchen might be problematic if there were more guests.
The kitchen itself was very convenient. We stayed for two nights, and everything was fine after the first day. However, on the second day, another guest left dirty pots in the kitchen and checked out, so we had to start our breakfast by cleaning up after them. Of course, this was not the hosts’ fault, but simply inconsiderate behaviour on the part of one of the guests.
The designer who thought it was a good idea to install a shelf above such a small washbasin should go back to school or find a different profession. In practice, the bathroom sink was almost impossible to use.
Depending on which room you get, your view will either be of the car park or of the kitchen and communal area. The rooms are very small, perfectly adequate for an overnight stay, but not for a longer stay.

Very clean, great bed & shower. Excellent cooking facilities & very handy to have laundry on site.
The tiniest of bathroom sinks with a shelf immediately above making it very difficult to brush teeth/wash face/shave!
