Vicolo Dell'Oro

The location was tucked away on a little side street in Siena city with beautiful surroundings and an outlook. I had a private bedroom in an apartment with several others rooms, shared laundry and kitchen, but private bathroom. The room was relatively clean upon arrival, however the ground would have used a good sweep and mop. Some of the linen cupboards were left open with blankets peeping out. The room was quite warm (no air conditioning) but fine at night. The bed was not the most comfortable with an older, thin mattress, but the views and old school vibes made up for it. It was a great stay for myself, although I felt a little expensive for just one person. The host was extremely responsive, prompt, and helpful. I was even allowed to use the washing machine, steamer, drying racks, etc. which was a huge benefit. On my last night there was a ceremony going on outside in the streets below from 8pm-1am, which, although amazing to see, was so extremely loud - like having a concert in my bedroom. The other nights/days it was so quiet and lovely.

The mattress, a fan or some cooling system in the room, and cleaner floors :)
