The Australian Heritage Hotel

Atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and great location.

Shared bathrooms were clean, but cramped and smelly drains. Signage on the building is confusing; Australia, Emporium, nowhere did I see Australia heritage. And walked past it twice when I first arrived.

The food in the pub was excellent, and we appreciated the 10% discount

Friendly staff. An old haunt of mine so good for nostalgia reasons to stay. Good breakfast included in price. Met some friendly other travellers. Comfortable rooms. Good food, discount for people who stay.

The narrow staircase, but I coped. A bit noisy the night I stayed due to football final, but didn’t stop me from sleeping so I can’t really complain.

Location! It was nice having the bar and restaurant there! And the breakfast fruits were delicious

Had some issues with what felt like should have been NON issues: such as our window wouldn’t close all the way! There was about a six inch gap clear at the top! This made our room extra noisy, and with the older windows/walls It was already very noisy! In all directions and very late into the night! Not a good place to sleep on a game night! I couldn’t turn on the bathroom lights in one of the shared bathrooms, which I was unaware of that we wouldn’t have our own! It is winter…. And our room was extremely cold! Several steep stairs and no elevator. Staff was great to assist with luggage on arrival.
