Great location, friendly staff, but tiny rooms

Like that it was close to Paddington station, hotel was too hot in the room , no air conditioning.

Traveled with family (group of 9).
Rooms were clean and very close to the Paddington Station.
Breakfast was fine.
Negative:
Stayed during Europe’s heat wave, ac doesn’t work like in the USA.
Only 2 rooms had ac.
Elevator only allows for 2 people at a time.
The place is like à meza.
For a quick overnight I would stay again, but for a long stay probably not.

We have stayed at the Royal Eagle for several years now, and find it a delightful place. Cozy and friendly, very conveniently located, comfortable and clean. We've always had excellent experiences there, and our latest stay there was no exception.
