Old hotel.

The hotel is in a great location of course and the staff were very helpful even though the check in counter is located in a completely different hotel which was confusing at first.
However, the hotel is not maintained at all, it’s run down and dated. You’re just paying for the location and convenience to being in Banff

While this is a 2-star hotel with a premium price tag, the cost is understandable given the prime downtown Banff location in early July. Overall, we had a good stay. The only real issue we encountered was a very loud air conditioning unit. Fortunately, the nighttime temperature was cool enough that we could just turn it off to sleep.

"Excellent stay, really quiet at night. Very handy to catch the roam bus right out front of the hotel, much better then trying to find parking."
