Don't be put off when you enter the pub, it looks very old and needing lots of upgrades. Then there's the staff, you couldn't have a better reception than here. Our room was spotless and everything that you needed was in and if it wasn't you only had to ask. It was a hot day so we could sit in the beer garden, that too could have benefited from a tidy up but it didn't spoil having a drink or two, The included breakfast was spot on. All in all we had a great stay here and we would go back.
We went to the old theatre and would say that if you haven't been inside you are missing a treat.

An excellent stay in a good sized room in a good location. The staff were excellent and breakfast was very good. The only negative comment is that evening meals are not served at the hotel however there are plenty of good options nearby.
