We stayed the weekend of July 4th, definitely off peak season (about 60% capacity I think). Our goal was a quiet vacation with lots of relaxation, and this REALLY delivered! In spite of the roasting heat, I would definitely travel again off peak, specifically to stay in a room by the golden (quiet) pool where there are abundant shady pool chairs, poolside service, and daily visits from coatis, agouti, iguanas and so many birds. There was lots of ocean seaweed that was only minimally cleared due to sea turtle nesting season, however we got to see a huge mama turtle scooting back to the ocean during a sunrise walk!
The staff were SO welcoming and observant, and we loved that we could pretty much keep to ourselves and not interact with other guests unless we wanted to.

This was our second time at The Valentin and it was just as amazing as the first time! The property is the nicest we've ever been to, the staff are all so friendly, great food, good drinks. An amazing time was had by all!

The food here is much better than I ever expected for an all inclusive! Definitely a foodie paradise and the resort is beautiful. Highly recommend the Emerald Suite! Great service as well!
