New Road Hotel

I only stayed in the hotel for one night while travelling through London but it was fantastic. Both members of staff on the front desk could not have been more helpful, the room was spacious and in immaculate condition with a fantastic shower and a very large comfortable bed. I like the added touch of the games room with free to use pool table and arcade machine along with the free coffee machines dotted around the property. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be using it again on my next trip to London.

Very clean and modern hotel with enough space for two in the smallest room. Well located for exploring east London and reasonably priced. The only thing I would mark it down for is the breakfast. I ordered the vegan breakfast and it was really quite unpleasant, including an unseasoned block of tofu (never seen that before at a restaurant!) and the veggie sausages were just mashed potato, carrots and peas. Also didn't have any non-dairy milk at the coffee station. Hopefully these are things which can be improved easily as it was otherwise a good hotel.

Close to the underground, quit rooms. Staff nice and welcoming. The shower had stained glass, worked for us as a couple, but won't work for a family. Too fee shelves, no dresser or cabinets, no fridge. Overall we enjoyed our stay

I'm happy I found this place! A comfortable room at a reasonable price in a great location. If you travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels, you know that standards can vary. Zip strikes the right balance between convenience and quality. I couldn't ask for more.
