We were on half boards so we enjoyed the buffet at breakfast and dinner. The cooks especially were very attentive and would make pretty much anything you asked for. The food was of excellent quality and I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon. There were only two negatives to our stay. One was that the pool was closed the entire first day due to weather although it wasn't raining or thundering. Seemed to be closed so they could have a photo shoot. The other problem was that we were in the bar enjoying happy hour and my wife and I played a card game and were told that we had to put it away immediately. No card playing in the bar. Seems a strange policy. They were very inflexible about it. Otherwise everything was fantastic. The concierge was also incredibly helpful.

It was a short trip and I can’t say enough about this place. It’s exceptional. The service, food and staff were excellent.
