The Marker Hotel

Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location

I am a solo traveler, and my experience at The Marker was wonderful! This is simple yes lovely accommodation with a very helpful and caring staff. The room is a bit eclectic, but very clean and sweet. It hosts everything you need. Air-conditioning and hot water, a comfortable bed and delicious breakfast… I will return! It is in the heart of a wonderful and historic neighborhood, the museum is steps away, amazing coffee and cafes, with fun shopping. So many popular districts are short walking distances away. I plan to return!

Great location about two blocks from Googe Street tube station, which has some restaurants and other amenities near by. Perfect for anyone who is visiting UCL, SOAS, or the other University of London schools nearby. The included breakfast was a nice surprise, basic, but good full English. We were on the top floor, which was a bit challenging since the property does not have an elevator. Good thing we stored our larger luggage at Heathrow otherwise we would have struggled to get up the stairs. The room itself was a decent size for a short two-night stay, and staff was friendly.

Fabulous value in central London, near to theatres shops, underground stations. Super friendly staff felt more like a coastal seaside guesthouse than a big city Hotel excellent night sleep as fire doors prevent sound from other rooms outside and hallways. Excellent breakfast options. Staff couldn’t have been any friendly and unhelpful. I’ll be back.
