LOCATION WAS AMAZING! Close to train and in the middle of town.
Because it’s an older wooden house structure the walls are thin and outside noise can be heard. Not a problem if your a deep sleeper but if your a light sleeper you might struggle a little.

Amazing location, close to train stations and very easy to get everywhere, only 15 minute walk from Shinjuku. Many good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hosts are very responsive, the apartment was clean, it was very convenient to have a washing machine with a washing line available. Good value for money especially due to the location.
Not great soundproofing or light proofing, and the futon was not as good as a normal mattress, which is to be expected- a sensitive sleeper may struggle, bring earplugs and an eye mask!
