The beach house itself was good and had a good layout, but there were several issues that affected our stay. From the moment we entered, there was a noticeable musty mildewy odor that lingered throughout the entire house. Unfortunately, the smell never seemed to go away throughout the week. We also had problems with two of the appliances. The dishwasher did not work properly for us. It ran for an hour on the same cycle and when we went to check it, we found a find a puddle of water on the floor. In addition, the dryer vent hose had a hole in it, which caused hot air to vent directly into the upstairs area instead of outside. This made the upstairs noticeably warmer anytime we used the dryer. Overall, the house was good, but the persistent odor was frustrating to deal with the most, especially having a toddler with us. We did had a good experience with Village Realty on that side of things as they were super communicative throughout the process and make checking in very simple.

The bottom step appears to be broken or about to break:. Also, the one bed needs som serious attention when you lay on in, you roll into the middle, so with two people, it was a struggle. Overall this is a wonderful little house. The location was perfect for a peaceful get away. Beach access was close and nice walk. Coffee shops within walking distance. Would stay again!
