Beautiful location, view and lovely room with high ceilings and comfortable beds. By staying here in the region, you get a Gastekarte which gives you a discount to local attractions like the cable cars and priority access (ask at reception). Typical chocolate box swiss chalet hotel. Walking distance to Frutigen station. Quiet room and lovely staff.
Slow internet (Wi-Fi coverage is good though). Expensive like much in this part of Switzerland!

Clean, comfortable and great location. Came with my whole family for a couple of nights (3 rooms) and we were all very pleased with the rooms.

This hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the Frutigen train station and within walking distance to restaurants, bakeries and Migros and Coop supermarkets.
Our spotless room was small but sufficient. The bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows and luxurious comforters. There was a small table with a water carafe and glasses, along with the some complimentary chocolates!
The best feature was the balcony with chairs and a chair swing with a gorgeous view of the mountains!
The restaurant has a nice menu but was too expensive. We had a delicious pizza dinner at the nearby Falken Restaurant and breakfast at a bakery.
The reception staff was not readily available and was not particularly friendly. Be aware the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and there is no reception staff on that day.
Also be aware that this charming hotel is older; the floor and balcony above our room were creaky.
