Hôtel Maison du Fort

Excellent location in Old Quebec. Superbly renovated old property with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Huge bathroom.

Room was very small with little space for luggage and bathroom accessed via steep staircase.

The hotel offered comfortable accommodations in a convenient location, with views of the Frontenac and St. Lawrence River from Room 6. We really enjoyed dining at Bello, La Buche and L’Omelette, all less than 5 minute walk from the hotel. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere, including to Quartier Petit Champlain.

Would recommend having power outlet and lamps near bed. Phone charging was not as convenient as other hotels.

We loved the architecture , the locations was great, the room was charming and comfortable. Coffee making facilities downstairs and in the room were also appreciated!

Had to carry suitcases ups couple flights, but I cannot complain, the receptionist helped us!

Cleanliness. Linens. Location. Communication.

Room layout. No place to sit other than the bed. Very low ceiling height above bed and no space to walk around the bed. Very dark furnishings and floors with limited lighting causing safety concerns with various floor levels and stairs. Open concept of bathroom lacked privacy. Very small windows and no airflow. Large wooden window casing fell on me while trying to open it. Welcome email said that we would be greeted with light bites and assorted beverages, yet nothing was offered. No assistance with bags provided. Reception/common areas were unremarkable.
