Welcome to the Beach! Our townhome is located in the gated Bahia de Matagorda community, just 7 miles from the town of Matagorda, TX. Enjoy the community pool, catch & release fishing and crabbing in the lagoon, or take a stroll over the Dunes and you’ll be on the beach!
This home is 1300 sq. ft and sleeps 8 comfortably. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with king size bed and one with a queen size bed. The downstairs bathroom has a gorgeous walk in shower. The living area is comfortable with Dish satellite channels on a roku Hisense smart TV for streaming services. WiFi is available. The king bedroom and loft bedroom have smart TVs for use with Netflix/prime/Hulu and other streaming services. Check out the white cabinet in the living room for tons of options for family game night. Grab a book from one of the bedrooms and relax on the deck. The kitchen is well appointed with all the dishes, flatware, and cookware you will need. Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher are all available for your use. Dining area has seating for 6 and the eat-in bar accommodates 3. Upstairs you will find a loft bedroom with two twin beds and a full size bed, as well as another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Check out the amazing unobstructed ocean views from the loft balcony or the large deck. A charcoal grill is provided and may only be used on the ground level.
All renters must be at least 25 years old. No smoking or vaping in or outside the house or in any of the community areas. Coin laundry and ice machine are located on the pool island. No pets. No events.

This was the perfect space for our family. We normally go to Port A, but from now on, we will be coming here. Host was great and responsive. House was very much well kept. Beach waz not over crowded and walk to the beach was quick.l, though we drove on. A lot of mosquitoes due to all the rain was the only down fall, but that had nothing to do with the host or house, just come prepared. Pool was great and well kept too! We also had 1 rainy day and there were great games located in the house to keep our family busy

Ocean views were really good, the unit inside is modern, comfortable and very clean. Beach access is decent with a path nearby, but an area resident has no trespassing signs posted so it’s unclear if the path is on private property or not. The car beach access isn’t far. The pool is great and the fishing in the local pond is also very nice. The check-in and check out times are firm with notices of fines if not followed. The drawback to this community is the exterior is dated and worn and in need of minor repairs which looks more like an HOA issue than an issue with the unit itself. Compared to other Matagorda locations would still recommend with the amenities and the interior condition. If they update the exteriors this place would be 5 star.

Had a problem with the AC the final night, got back to the condo between 9-10 pm was 83 degrees inside the condo, luckily we brought fans but by morning it had only cooled to 80. We did not call the host as we left early in the morning. Other than that the condo was as advertised.
