Visitor’s Tax/Overnight Stay Tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of guests, visitors to the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

We are pleased to offer you our beautiful *Hering* vacation apartment, located right in the heart of Wismar’s Old Town. It has been recently renovated, tastefully furnished, and equipped with modern amenities.
With 25 square meters of living space, you’ll find every comfort you need for a restful and relaxing vacation. Once you arrive, enjoy the convenience of leaving your car behind and being right in the historic center of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. For example, the Wismar Market Square is a 2-minute walk away, and the Old Harbor—with its sailing ships and occasional cruise ships—is a 10-minute walk away.
Our “Hering” vacation apartment, 1st floor, 1-room apartment:
- Vacation apartment for 2 people, approx. 25 m², 1st floor
- Living room/bedroom with box-spring bed (1.60 x 2.00 m), flat-screen TV, dining area for 2 people, closet, 2 armchairs
- Fully equipped kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher, 4-burner ceramic stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, and dishes
- Full bathroom with bathtub, toilet, mirror
- Washing machine and dryer are available
- Free Wi-Fi

Please note that the vacation rental is located on the 1st floor and is accessible only via a steep staircase. An elevator is already in the planning stages but still requires approval from the city.

Parking: Please use the paid parking spaces at the train station. Alternatively, you can also use the free parking spaces on Kanalstraße – Unter der Hochbrücke.

In the immediate vicinity, cozy restaurants, ice cream parlors, and bars invite you to linger. Wismar is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can explore numerous sights in the Old Town. Excursions to the beautiful Baltic Sea coast or to the nearby seaside resorts are also highly recommended.
