Visitor’s Tax/Overnight Stay Tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Parking: The affordable public parking lot “Altstadt/Turmstraße” is within walking distance; the current cost is 4€ per day. The free public parking lot at An der Hochbrücke/Kanalstr. is also easily accessible (via Schottelweg). For loading and unloading, you can usually park right in front of the courtyard entrance for a short time.
