The Imperial

EL hotel está NUEVO completamente, las habitaciones huelen a nuevo con un diseño muy moderno y agradable. La calidad de la cama y textiles son de cinco estrellas. De hecho, he estado en cinco estrellas mucho peores en todos los sentidos. Extraordinariamente limpio! Tiene una ubicación estupenda, muy bien comunicada y a 15min andando a Trafalgar Square. El personal no sabe qué hacer para agradar, TODOS, desde recepción ( muy especial, te reciben en unos sofás con una copita y/o refresco que se agradece mucho.. genial !! hasta la manager del hotel, gran profesional, camareros, conserje... todos. El desayuno fantástico y muy completo, es con pequeño pero completo buffet + a la carta con una calidad muy alta, lo dan en la terraza de arriba, toda acristalada, maravillosa, lo cual hace el día empiece con muy buenas sensaciones. Sin duda será mi hotel de referencia cuando vuelva a Londres.

Las almohadas, un poco altas, pero me trajeron otras opciones nada más que lo pedí. Excelente calidad pero reconozco que este tema es muy personal. :)

Everything ! The hotel is so impressive in every way. The facade, the lobby, the restaurants, the rooms, they are all perfection. We were very lucky to get a room on the 8th floor overlooking Russell Square. It was beautiful and comfortable and every detail was as just perfect.

There is not one thing I did not like.

Er was geen koelkast op de kamer. Ook kregen we een kamer die een toegangsdeur naar een andere kamer had waardoor het erg gehorig was. We konden de mensen goed horen. Ze hadden een jonge baby bij zich die huilde (logisch). Normaal hoor je dat niet zo erg maar door de toegangsdeur was het alsof de baby bij ons in de kamer was.

The staff, especially Fernando, and the location were excellent.

The inclusive breakfast was rather limited and the dining room was very noisy. The bedroom quilts were very heavy. We ended up in the wrong elevators twice and felt they needed clearer labelling.
