Bear Sightings Galore!

You're staying in the heart of black bear country, where wildlife sightings are part of the Smoky Mountain magic! You may be lucky enough to spot one of our curious (and sometimes bold!) black bear neighbors during your stay.

For everyone's safety, please admire bears from a distance, never approach or feed them, and always keep your vehicle doors locked. A bear sighting can be an unforgettable experience—let's make sure it's a safe one!

Come for the mountains. Stay for the memories.
