Abigail's Hotel

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to lift our suitcases up the two flights of stairs to our room.The guest lounge area was very comfortable and facilitated both coffee and tea making as well as offering home made soup for guests returning in the late afternoon.Breakfast was exceptional. Arranging a timed sitting ensured a well paced meal. Small touches such as the days weather forecast on the back of the daily menu was well considered. The food itself was beautifully cooked and presented.

Our room was on the second floor and had no lift access. The room itself was quaint but the bathroom and sink were very confined.Those travellers arriving in Victoria from the ferry transfer, should be aware that there is a bit of an incline when pulling a suitcase. There is no fridge facility in the room.

Breakfast times allotted for only 30 mins which is too short to enjoy the delicious breakfast provided. Too rushed. Sink in our room (2F) was too small to shave as metal rack got in way.

Abigail’s Hotel is an exceptional place to stay. It is very well located in Victoria, in a quiet spot just a short walk from the waterfront and lots of great restaurants and bars. The hotel is of a very high standard, the rooms are spacious, well appointed and immaculate, and staff were superb at every interaction.

Parking is a little bit limited at the property. Breakfast is included, and of very high quality, but involves reserving a table at a specific time. I would have preferred greater flexibility with this, rather than having to commit to a time.
