Hôtel Le Concorde Québec

Comfortable and spacious room. Great location. The on-site bistro Le Cochon Dingue is an affordable option (and a popular choice in the city). The hotel is huge and thus a bit impersonal, though.

Free open wi-fi was supposedly available but the connection was weak and often interrupted. I had to disable wi-fi to perform the simplest operations.

I was on the end room on a corridor. On the outside the building some ropes were banging against the wall all night - for two nights in a row. It was very windy the three days I was there and it would not have been a problem if the weather was better however, it did keep me awake. Also the shower didn't work in the room. I could get the water to come out for a bath but could not get the water to come out of the showerhead. That little leaver seemed not to work.

Room had a great view of the river and the park. Room is quite large and very clean. Generally I liked the hotel, conveniently located close to historic town and there is a lot of green space next to it and also lots of restaurants nearby.

Lift capacity is inadequate, almost always you need to stand in line and wait. I doubt anything can really be done about it. Otherwise all good.

Location and the Cochon breakfast we had the day we left was wonderful. Great view from our room.

This hotel’s room was not properly maintained. The safe was locked, couldn’t store anything in the safe. Coffee was short in quantity. When we arrived at room, service was still finishing up. How could there not be No Room Service in this type of hotel! Ciel’s view was stunning, cocktails lovely but the charcuterie did not live up to its expectation. No description of what the platter actually contained, meat was tough as well.
