Location was perfectly right in the heart of the town

Historic building in fantastic downtown location, nice staff, clean and well run.

No fridge or microwave in room, tricky parking

I loved the vibe, the feel of history. They are extremely dog friendly which was very nice. One of the lamps didn't work which affected my early morning routine. I was able to adjust and read in the lobby, which was spacious and lovely.

Lovely historic property, lovingly cared for! Radiators in the rooms, transom windows above the doors, high ceilings, and a vintage elevator that's a hoot! The place has a hipster, eclectic vibe and is right in the middle of town, within walking distance of pretty much everything.

Street parking only - arriving on a busy night, the only spot we could find was a block away, and we had to get up early the next morning to pay for parking so we wouldn't get towed. Historic windows are charming, but did little/nothing to filter noise from street (drunk people leaving bars) or railroad just a block away. (The trains don't honk, but boy do the breaks squeal!) Lack of blackout curtains made it hard to sleep past dawn. Only flat space suitable for setting up laptop was occupied by an unnecessary cash minibar. No drawers, no usable closet, and not enough plugs, so bring a power strip and plan on leaving your clothes in your luggage.
