Hotel Krčínův Dům

The location was excellent. We had a very large room on the third floor (31). The bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff were pleasant. We were there during their annual folk & wine festival. There were great bands entertaining in the town square plus many craft stands and excellent food stands.

The room was very warm for September I think because the bathroom had a towel warmer which also serves as a heater. It was on when we entered the room and the bathroom was hot. I turned off the valve but the room stayed warm during our 2 night stay. The toilet is very high so if you are below 6 feet, you won’t touch the floor. Breakfast starts at 8:00 so we were unable to avail ourselves of it the day we left as we had a car picking us up at 8:00. It is served in the restaurant in the same building but it is not owned by the hotel. The property does not have an on premise attendant after a certain time in the evening. Normally that does not matter to us but in this case the hotel lost power our first night around 9:00 pm when my wife was in the shower, which was a bit scary for her. Emergency lighting came on in the Common areas on all floors but rooms were without power. The restaurant owner/chef wound up contacting hotel management who corrected the problem.

The room was extraordinary. So many fantastic artifacts and art. Beautiful architectural details. It was also immaculately clean. Location was ideal, in the middle of the town, reasonably close to public parking. The bathroom was large with a wonderful bathtub. Breakfast was good but had limited selections.

There was a handheld spray in the tub but no shower. Also there was no air conditioning. There was a fan provided, which was adequate with mild weather late September.

Cudowny Hotel w samym centrum Czeskiego Krumlova. Hotel przewyższył moje oczekiwania. Wynajmawałem apartament luxusowy urzadzony w startym stylu z nowoczesną łazienką z widokiem na miasto.Cały Hotel jest w Starym stylu takie jak lubię , na parterze znajduje się Restauracja z hotelu. Miła obsługa, dobre śniadania. Lokalizacja znakomita blisko do rynku , katedry samo centrum starego miasta. Do parkingu P3 jakieś 12 minut spacerkiem. Polecam ten parking ponieważ jest dozorowany , monitorowany posiada darmowe WC i jest niedrogi 24 godz to 290kc 30h to 390kc. Jeśli ktoś nie lubi gwaru muzyki i miasta które wieczorami może być głośne powinien brać pokój lub Hotel poza centrum strego miasta lub pokoj wewnątrz budynku a nie od frontu ..

Comfortable room though a bit warm when we couldn’t open the windows due to rain.
