I stay here regularly for work. It's a great location close to the train station and the city centre. Good facilities, always clean and comfortable. Check in and entry is simple and easy, host always accommodating.
Not a huge amount of space but it's ideal for a short stay.

Property was within easy walking distance of both the train station and the city centre. The space was clean and comfortable providing everything required for a short city break. We did have a couple of issues which were dealt with to our satisfaction in a timely fashion and did not impact our stay at all. All enquiries made via text were answered promptly and the staff member that we met was polite and friendly. Would book again.
The bedroom ceiling is sloped and while it was no problem for me, my 6’2”” husband had a bit of an issue getting into bed on his side. Ceiling above basin in bathroom was the same meaning no mirror above for shaving.

Great location, right on Mickelgate and easy to walk into centre of York. Quiet (apart from noise from nearby pub late at night). Loved the feather duvet and pillows (unusual in accommodation these days).
Felt cramped in the bedroom. The lighting was terrible - not bright enough, the cool white light in the bathroom was uncomfortable and the bedside reading lights didn’t work, overall not cosy. The bed was comfortable but very ‘squeaky’. Would have been nice if parking was included in the price.
