Konak Hotel Taksim

We were in town for a concert at the ICC so the location was perfect. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Taksim Square which is convenient. The staff was nice, the breakfast was good, and the bed was comfortable.

It rained all three days we were in town so we ended up spending more time in the hotel room than expected. On that note, avoid room 506 at all costs. It must be a dead zone for the WiFi; the WiFi would connect for a minute or two then the signal would drop.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely wonderful stay at Konak Hotel. Everything was great — the rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was excellent, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and the whole hotel had a warm and pleasant atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very well looked after. Excellent service and great value for money. I would definitely recommend Konak Hotel and would happily stay again!

Everything was great

Everything and the staffs are amazing, they are so helpful and supportive. The breakfast is good, the area is nice, many restaurants and cafes around. Very convenient for shopping...Overall it is excellent. I would like to thank the whole staff.

Location is excellent and close to services , shops, supermarkets ,restaurants and walking distance to Taksim square, nearby paid street parking . Staff at reception are welcoming and supportive , housekeeping is fast . In addition to good location , place is clean , comfortable beds , slightly a way from pubs noise

We booked 3 rooms for 6 nights in total, FULLY PREPAID before our arrival ; 1 room with double bed + 2 rooms with twin beds , we also informed the hotel one week arrival in advance that we will arrive after midnight and they confirmed our booked and prepaid rooms will be ready , BUT , after checking in we found out all rooms are with twin beds ( 2 separate beds ) we asked reception for the room we booked with one large bed ( double beds) they told us there are no rooms available and they can do nothing to solve this problem other than bringing the 2 beds closer together to have larger bed size !!! We refused this temporary solution because we booked and paid for a proper double beds . It was too late to look for another hotel , also the rooms were pre paid and we were very tired and needed a place to sleep so we had no choice but to accept this ,we talked to the hotel management on duty during check in and the next day morning , they only apologized for the “mistake “ and they didn’t offer us any alternative solution and when we suggested an upgrade or at least a partial refund of one night for this room as a compensation for their mistake they refused our suggestion and we actually got nothing and were forced to stay in a room which we did not book and pre pay for ! This is an un forgivable mistake and in my opinion is bad management decision. Because the hotel made a terrible mistake by changing a pre paid and confirmed booking and did not make any effort to solve it nor offered any kind of compensation , however next day they changed our room to another one with correct bed type ! The hotel and staff are nice , but the way hotel management handled the problem they caused by their own mistake when they have given our booked room to another customer is a disaster and flipped my customer experience from fantastic to horrible! For this reason I only rate the hotel as low as 6
