Albinas Hotel Old City

The staff is helpful and nice, Furkan gave good tips and recommended reasonable restaurants in otherwise very touristy area. Location is good for exploring the historic sites. Breakfast was excellent. Quite calm when windows are closed, soundproofing works. Blackout curtains also do their job well. Overall a wonderful little hotel that is clearly being well cared for!

With windows open, there is unavoidable Istanbul noise - either from street, or from the AC machines humming in the inside courtyard. The normal room (14m2) can get a bit cramped for two people - no real place to put your clothes and things, only a closet for jackets with five hangers. The "laptop safe" does not fit a 14" laptop, but works for passports etc. Nevertheless, we had a good time!

We stayed at this hotel for more than a week, and we really enjoyed every moment of it. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. Everyone was so friendly and warm that it honestly felt like we had known them for a long time. The location is fantastic. The Blue Mosque is only about 3 minutes away on foot, and Hagia Sophia is around 5 minutes away. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the Sultanahmet tram stop is very close, so it’s easy to get around Istanbul. The sea is also just a short walk away, which was lovely for an evening walk along the promenade. A special thank you to Mr. Furkan, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He is such a nice person and was always ready to help with anything we needed. You can really tell that he cares about the guests, and we appreciated it so much. We also had a family reunion during our stay, with several family members staying at the hotel, and everyone had a great time. The warm atmosphere of the hotel made the whole experience even more special. The breakfast was fresh and good, and the kitchen staff were very nice and helpful. I have some food allergies, and I was happy to find things I could eat without any problems. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were perfectly fine. One thing I especially appreciated was how quiet it was at night. Even though the hotel is right in the centre of Sultanahmet, there was no problem sleeping at all. I’m a very light sleeper, so this was a big plus for me! Overall, what we loved most was the people and the atmosphere. We felt comfortable, welcome and genuinely looked after during our entire stay. Thank you to everyone at the hotel, and especially to Mr. Furkan, for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely come back when we visit Istanbul again! ❤️

Miły personel, bardzo pyszne śniadania.

Lokalizacja wcale nie jest dobra. Hotel jest stary i wymaga remontu, odchodzą tapety,w łazience wszystko popękane, leje sie woda, stara klimatyzacja jest tak głośno że w nocy budzi i nie da się spać a niestety byliśmy ulokowani w piwnicach, było bardzo zimno i ciągnęło od nieszczelnych okien. Opcja niby z tarasem a teraz w piwnicy zagrzybiony. Nie wszystko jest tak jak jest napisane poprostu i tak jak wygląda na zdjęciach.
