Silver Hill Hotel

Amazing boutique hotel, the rooms are veeery beautiful and the location is perfect in the heart of gjirokastër's old town. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very homey and tasty.

After 2 weeks in Albania, this is my favorite accommodation! Perfect location, friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and INCREDIBLE view. The room was absolutely spotless and SO clean. I really enjoyed the modern bathroom and new AC.

Everything on this property was exceptional. A real glimpse into the old albanian tradition. We enjoyed it a lot! Cant wait to go back again 👍

The location couldn’t be better. There’s a parking space just outside the hotel, yet you’re only a 2–3 minute walk from the Old Bazaar, making it an ideal base for exploring Gjirokastër. Alma, who runs the hotel, is absolutely lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. She even did our washing for us, which was very much appreciated after travelling around Albania. The room wasn’t especially spacious for three people, but for a two-night stay it was perfectly manageable. Breakfast is served on a lovely terrace, which is a great way to start the day. If I had one suggestion, it would be regarding breakfast. A generous selection is brought to the table automatically, which is a lovely gesture, but there was always far more than I could eat. It might be worth asking guests what they would like beforehand, as this could help reduce unnecessary food waste.
