Beautiful location, cabin has everything you need. Love the fireplace for those chilly nights!!

Property is just as described. Not fancy but met our needs perfectly. We really enjoyed the view, walking the 3 mile loop around the lake and having dinner at the nearby pub. Julian and even Anza Borrego were a short drive away. Overall a very relaxing 5 days.

I stayed at this cabin on a recommendation from my granddaughter, who has stayed here before, and loved it. My daughter, son in law, and myself, enjoyed 4 wonderful days in this cabin, relaxing on the large deck and enjoying the views. The cabin is quiet and clean, and the hosts are exceptional. We were invited to pick apples and use the firewood, if we chose. When we arrived the cabin was clean and neat, and we ensured it was as clean as we found it, when we left. I can assure you we will happily return to this location, probably in the spring. Thank you so much.

It was a very easy check-in process with no issues. The cabin was comfy, clean and orderly with a breathtaking view from the balcony. Parking for two motorcyclist was a bit challenging but we managed. We requested an extra day stay and the hosts were very accommodating. We really enjoyed are stay at the cabin.

This is a beautiful setting overlooking the lake. Our first time doing this and I brought too much with me. Kitchen was well stocked with all I needed. Appliances, cookware, plates, etc. it was set up for many more people, so many rollaway beds and many sheets and blankets. Very clean. We saw lots of wild turkeys, deer, birds. Decking on 3 sides of property, with plenty of chairs for outside sitting.

The property was great! Clean great location, the view was amazing, had some feather visitors (turkeys) and the instructions were clear and accurate. We will be back and can’t wait to do so

Just looking at the lake all day, watching the turkeys, run by your front door along with a deer or two few quail, a baby rabbit, and a bobcat. Will visit again

The property was perfect. Roomy and quaint. Had all the basics we needed and we loved the deck area. View from the deck was breathtaking. This gave us the peaceful weekend we needed. Will definitely stay here when I book for the lake if it’s available!!!

The house was really nice. Although the lake by the house is not for swimming and we were looking forward to that, it was a nice stay and such a quiet and private area. We would definitely come back

We took in natural views of lake and the wildlife. We saw in our front porch wild turkeys and hummingbirds. At one point we even saw a majestic bald eagle. We decompressed during the day at the lake by renting a boat and fishing the day away. Just a lovely get away!

The house was just as described and more. I visited with my elderly parents, sister, and 13 year-old niece. We where looking for the perfect house to escape the Imperial Valley heat where my parents could enjoy morning and afternoon walks. This was definitely the place to stay. The house has the most amazing view of Lake Cuyamaca and mountains. During our 2 day stay, we went to the historic town of Julian where we enjoyed a day of shopping and great food. Just a 3 minute drive from the house is Chambers Park Campground where I took my parents for an evening walk. I am not sure of the name of the island in the middle of Lake Cuyamaca, but my niece and I really enjoyed hiking the trails and bird watching. We spent hours playing with many of the board games with our young niece. Thank you for providing them for your guests. The house is in the most perfect location! We are looking forward to returning to your beautiful home. America

Our stay was most enjoyable. The cabin is simple and efficient. We spent much of our time on the shaded deck enjoying the view.

The cabin was perfect! The view is breathtaking and it has a complete wrap around porch. The kids were able to play without worry of cars because it’s up on a hill. The inside was extremely clean and fully stocked and the owners were so pleasant. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time here! The cabin is exceptionally clean, organized, had all the amenities and more! The view from the living room couch to the lake was spot on. I celebrated my birthday here and fishing on the lake the entire time. Visitors Julian town which is always a must. I definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting. Very cozy place!

The pictures honestly don't do it justice. We got the best of both worlds, an amazing sunny day, and a chill overcast day where we got to see the cloud fog slowly overtake the lake. The neighborhood itself is wonderful with really friendly local folks and pups (and the occasional turkey!) It was the perfect way to hang out with friends, grill a burger and just enjoy the day without the hustle and bustle of city life.

My husband, sister-in-law and I had such a great time in this cozy, little home. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and relaxed on the deck as much as we could. We brought our dog along and he loved laying out on the deck too. We were lucky to see a small herd of deer and wild turkeys. My husband fished early one morning, he didn’t catch anything, but did see a very large bass jump up out of the water. We all trekked over to the lake and made our way over to The Pub for drinks and a meal. Visited the town of Julian where of course we bought a few pies from Mom’s. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy, the bathroom has a tub (unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use it), and a small shower. We cooked most of our meals and were able to find utensils and pots /pans we needed (just be sure to bring what you need food wise, (didn’t find any spices, sugar, oil, etc.,) luckily we brought all our supplies. Only blip was we were unable to connect with the wi-fi. Our host tried his best to figure out the problem. It was probably a good thing as we ended up spending more time chatting while enjoying the views and the stars at night instead of staring at a screen. Though we did a lot in the 3 days we were there, it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable mini-vacation I’ve had. Thank you for sharing this special little place!

We stayed for an entire week and had the best time. We have stayed a few times before and try to make it a bi-yearly thing. John and Maria were amazing and accommodating. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

We had a family vacation at the Cabin. Great location, everything was in order, comfortable, clean, and plenty of room for the four of us. The owners were very responsive when I had a few minor questions. View cannot be beat, and every morning we got to view turkey and deer with the kids. Will 100% reserve again.

Very nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds, well put together kitchen, lovely fireplace. It was cold during our visit however the deck invites you to come outside and enjoy. Lots of birds, several visits by a flock of wild turkeys and 3 small herds of deer wandered by. Overall a great experience!
