The place is lovely. Very serene and beautiful. Miriam was such a great host, bringing a treat every morning with a handwritten note. We very much enjoyed being there and interacting a bit with her family. Highly recommend!

The property is amazing. The attention todetail in every aspect is mind blowing. The location is on a farm. I got to see Chickens and Horses. Neither was a bother. You couldnt tell they were there unless you went looking for the animals. The family that host made everything very comfortable for us. The family provided everything we needed and some. The family never bpthered us. There were fresh baked goods delivered to us every morning of our stay. I love that there wasnt a T.V. on the property. I requested to have some spa services done at the property(Prepaid services from another company). They allowed it without hestitation. 5 star experience to me.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing place for a weekend getaway, a quiet location yet close to some of our favorite spots in the area. The Lapp Family property was perfect and just what we were hoping for. We were greeted by Miriam and two of her children upon our arrival. Miriam showed us around, making sure we had all we needed. Each morning she left yummy baked treats for us along with an encouraging note. The spacious apartment was beautiful. We appreciated having the full kitchen to cook some meals, the comfortable sitting area, and the soaking tub with bath salts and bubble bath to relax in at the end of each day. The location was ideal - tucked away in the woods, off the beaten path, yet close enough to some of our favorites. The Lapp family were wonderful hosts, and we hope to stay again sometime in the future.

Got away with my wife for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay here! The accommodations were beautiful, as was the surrounding countryside and the view from the windows. It was a very peaceful location. Miriam the hostess was great, and had fresh baked goods for us both mornings. It was nice being away from all the hustle and bustle of life and just chilling. Be aware that there is no TV or wifi. That wasn't a negative for us. We had our phones and a laptop (hotspot to our phones) if we wanted to do anything online. We would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it to others!

This apt above the barn was awesome. Mariam was very nice and her treats were awesome. I can’t wait to go back and hopefully not be running around so much to take time to appreciate the surroundings.

This was the perfect location for a quiet getaway! Extremely clean and comfortable. Miriam is very kind, friendly, a gracious host and bakes the best goodies each morning! So much nicer than an icky hotel. You won’t regret it!

What a special find! Very peaceful, welcoming, clean and well stocked apartment with a special homemade treat each morning! Miriam was a wonderful host and so kind. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and all the farm animals. We highly recommend!

I would need to write a book about our 2 week stay to fully express the time that we spent there. This is our second year staying here and it keeps getting better and better each time. We enjoyed being interactive with the family and absolutely hated having to leave. The apartment on second story of the barn is immaculately clean and well stocked with spices and coffee and much more. My husband and I live in South Florida where mornings can be hectic at times….imagine having coffee with no distractions….hence….simply tranquil. Each morning my husband would say….I wonder what baked goods Miriam brought today…..Thank you Ben, Miriam and family for making us feel like family…..see you next October (or sooner).
