We were very fortunate to have wonderful people like Eglis and Jorge with us. Jorge was very attentive and Eglis is a wonderful cook. The property and views were better than the pictures lots of breeze thru out the house and the small pool was very refreshing during the day. Great stores and restaurants nearby.My husband and I will be back with our kids soon.

For a first timer in this amazing city, the accommodations had to be right, but had to be safe (it was). From the start, check in was straightforward and the place was exactly as described and pictured online. What an amazing setup - Lily was great - she really took care of us, the out door space and view was just what we needed and most of all our host Alberto was extremely responsive to our messages before and during our stay - it made a real difference. I would hands down stay there again.

Love the place so much, Lily and Nicolas were beyond this world. The Apartament is so beautiful. This is one of our best stays ever and we travel a lot worldwide! We will be back!

Our stay was great. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. The many seating areas were ideal for lounging as a family. The housekeeper and gardener were unobtrusive and helpful when needed. The listing indicates the unit sleeps 5 but the accommodations beyond the two beds in the air conditioned parts of the unit weren’t well suited for a 5th adult. They would be better for a kid. If we return to Cartagena we would definitely stay here again.

I was expecting a lot more… it’s a bit outdated and the “pool” upstairs is a shallow little pond, less than a foot deep. The area outside is nice.

The property is beautiful. It looks as advertised. You get everything that is in the description. Check in was very simple. Maids are more than friendly and beyond helpful. Alberto was as helpful as could be. I did not know he lived in Spain, so once i understood that i was able to communicate with him during times he was awake and he was very responsive. The only thing i did not know before booking was that outside guest are not allowed in if they are not registered before 6pm. That means dont make friends at night thinking they may comeback and hangout with you. That was not a deal breaker though. Everything about the penthouse and location of the penthouse was perfect. Also, the master bedroom is a true MASTERBEDROOM. Fit for a king and queen.

We had a wonderful time at this unique location in the old city. It was located near the walls and we had a beautiful terrace. The pictures say it all - and Nicolas and Maribelle were wonderful and attentive hosts.

Fantastic space that perfectly captures the Cartagena vibe. Great location close to everything you need. Restaurants, shopping and the beach all a short walk.

This property is fantastic! Alberto, the owner, is super responsive and a pleasure to do business with. Ana, the live in house keeper/cook, is very kind and helpful. The location can't be beat! Definitely highly recommend the property!

The terrace of this place was a godsend. Cartagena tends to be very hot and humid year round, and we were fortunate to have this beautiful, spacious, and verdant third floor terrace along with the 4th floor terrace wading pool for cooling off during the day. The breeze was amazing and the choices of where to sit or lay around were endless. The terrace was so large, there were times we couldn't find each other- We were a group of 6 and while the second bedroom was smaller than expected, they accommodated us by arranging a fold out sofa in the master bedroom (which was huge!) and comfortably slept 4. Bedrooms had great A/C and the bathrooms were bright and fun to shower in. We actually never sat inside the apartment because the terrace was breezy and had amazing views. Ana and Nicholas were amazing and kind. Ana made us delicious breakfasts and fresh juice every day we asked and she made us an awesome arroz de coco with garlic shrimp for lunch one day. We stayed for 9 nights, and really had difficulties leaving the property every day since it was so amazing. Half of us had been to Cartagena before, so we knew what to expect in terms of location and were familiar with the city walled interiors. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk to the farthest corners of the wall, and our favorite place la cevecheria was just minutes away. There is a new mall close by with good atms. the mall is actually a pretty amazing structure inside and has some great places to eat and also has a spectacular rooftop view. There is a large supermarket just a long block away and a convenient bodega in the building. My only recommendation is to upgrade the pool just a little bit. a lot of stones, and tiles were showing a bit of wear and the lounge chairs seemed worn and one was broken- however, being able to cool down whenever you needed was a plus that outweighed the pool condition. I highly recommend staying here, after looking at other properties in cartagena, there are not many that are on the 4th floor or right by the ocean which is key to be able to have a breeze and a beautiful view.

LOVED our experience staying at this property! Photos accurately display this listing-especially enjoyed the numerous outdoor seating areas and the small (wading) pool. Property was maintained by Nicholas who attended to the property daily. Anna, the live-in house keeper was attentive to our needs and eager to make breakfast which were very good (groceries paid for by guests). Location was wonderful, near many restaurants in Old Town within walking distance. Alberto, the property owner, was quick to respond to email and provided several excellent recommendations for dinning and a PADI dive shop in building. Our stay was for five days, wish we could have stayed longer!

Walk to all neighborhood attractions and best restaurants! Didn’t realize this since first time in Medellín but pleasantly surprised regarding our choice.

This penthouse was so beautiful, quiet in great location walking distance to all restaurants/bars. Alberto was a great host 24/7 available if there’s any issues. Ana the livein maid was amazing, cooks breakfast and lunch if you want. The pictures do not do justice how nice of a place this is, I would highly recommend staying here.

Our third year in a row staying at this location. Being there is still like living a dream. We would love to experience it again, just have to stay fit enough to do the 3 flights of stairs up to the penthouse.

Penthouse is in a perfect location, it’s clean and bright with an amazing deck. Ana and Nicholas were terrific and very helpful (Ana is a great cook). And Alberto is available 24/7 if you need him.

This is a very cool place. The massive balcony is wonderful to hang out, read, eat and relax in. The staff is ever present and very helpful.
