Lovely 2 level apartment minutes from everything. Very responsive owner.

We've just had a lovely few days in Malta and this apartment was the ideal place to stay. It's in a great location just a couple of minutes from the Sliema strand for bars and restaurants but far enough away for peace and quiet. The ferry to Valletta is a five minute walk away and the Point shopping centre is about 15 minutes away. As mentioned in previous reviews the spiral staircase to the kitchen and dining area is steep and narrow but don't let this put you off from booking this apartment. My wife suffers with mobility issues but was able to get up and down the staircase without any problems. The apartment is equipped with everything you could need and the wi-fi speed was great. Communication with the owner was effortless; she was incredibly helpful providing loads of information about the local area and Malta as a whole. We had no problems getting into the apartment on arrival thanks to the very detailed emails from the Jill. If I visit Malta again I would not hesitate booking this apartment.

Jill could not be more helpful and very quick to respond. We had a change of flight at short notice but nothing was a problem. Highly recommend for holiday providing no limited mobility issues as spiral staircase has to be used with care. Very lively on The Strand near the apartment. Recommend the Valetta ferry for quieter restaurant options under 2€ and runs every 15 minutes. Well equipped holiday and very relaxing. As previously stated, the photos do not do this property justice.

The apartment had everything we needed. All rooms were lovely and the balconies made the stay even better. Great views and so nice to sit out on the terrace in a morning or evening. Jill was very friendly and informative before and throughout our stay, always easy to get hold of. Great location, plenty of bars and restaurants close by but it's a street up from the main strip so still nice and quiet. Very easy to get around the island too as it's near one of the main bus stops. If we return to Malta we would definitely be staying here again!

Week bus pass well worth purchasing

Renting this property was effortless. The whole process was straight forward and we were very well informed of our booking arrangements.

The apartment was quite spacious, provided everything you could need for a short stay and is in an very good location. The kitchen/dinning area and the terraces are on the top floor and provided excellent spaces to relax and enjoy the sunny weather. The view was quite good as well. Communication with Jill was very good and answered any questions efficiently and quickly. Highly recommend this apartment

Great position in Sliema. Lovely clean and tidy aparment with everything needed for comfortable stay. Owner very helpful. Spiral stairs to dining are/kitchen would not be suitable for everyone.

Fantastic apartment with the private roof terrace overlooking Sliema harbour and Valetta. The pictures of the apartment itself do not do it justice! Would highly recommend this apartment 100%, it was excellent! Thank you.

A lovely top floor apartment in a quiet street with great views towards Valletta.Very quirky layout with the kitchen and seating area being up the spiral staircase. There you can sit and enjoy the views, front and back. Short walk to Sliema front where you can get buses and ferries. Very easy to get around on the frequent buses. We purchased a 7 day pass which was great. Valletta is amazing with so much history and wonderful views. Museums aren't cheap but well worth the money. The war rooms were brilliant and the gun salute at 12 & 4pm.

Excellent communication from Jill, easy transfer from and back to airport. Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed - and more. It was located for everything and the views from the balconies were outstanding. We would recommend this apartment 100% - it was fabulous. Thank you.

On the 5th floor you get a lovely start of the day overloking Sliema harbour and especially enjoy your own weatherforecast. The sun terrace is just outside the kitchen (which is one staircase above the rest of the apartment) which allows for all kind of meals incl a good oven. In the Oct-Nov shift it can be a little windy outisde but indoors with open doors you get the full outdoor feeling without the wind and can easily move back and forth between in- and outside. The Wifi was satisfactory. TV had a lot pf Channels in both English (CNN and eg BBC) and Italian. The owner Jill was very helpful when we needed more info given rapid answers on mail. Of course there are minor things we would like to have adjusted or added. This is informed to Jill and with her constructive attitude we expect her to continue to improve the apartment to the benefit of her international guests and of course her own living here. As an example as at least senior people we would like better lamps to make reading easy. The apartment is very fresh and modern. You will find this a good choice for a vacation in the fantastic island of Malta which we appreciated for two weeks here.

We stayed in this apartment in the middle of October. It pretty much did live up to expectations from the photos and information on the Owners Direct website. Our communication with Jill from the outset was excellent. Prior to our stay she sent us a very comprehensive email with what to see, where to go and where to eat etc. She also arranged the taxi from the airport. The location of the apartment was excellent, practically in the thick of it but still quite quiet. Our only reason for not giving 5 stars is the staircase which other people have mentioned. It is quite steep and narrow. And the water pressure in the shower was very low. Once you've navigated the staircase however, the kitchen and outside space is amazing. We spent quite some time up there. Overall, we thought this apartment was excellent value for money and we would happily stay there again

Great location, private roof terrace, great decor. Couple of drawbacks, narrow spiral staircase to kitchen and roof terrace and no air conditioning, but there are 2 large fans. Owner was very easy to deal with.

Superb apartment with excellent roof terrace and views across the Sliema harbour. Very close to all amenities and restaurants. Jill was extremely helpful with her advice and recommendations. Trip in from the airport was painless as taxis always available, even after midnight. You will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment as it was clean, tidy and well equipped with lovely terraces to enjoy the sunshine. It was well positioned in Sliema but one street back from the front, so nice and quiet. Very convenient for the restaurants and the strand to catch the ferry to Valletta or for other travel facilities (hop-on hop-off buses, cruises etc). Great base to enjoy the island.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful Apartment for a week in March. We could not fault it or Jill the owner. The Apartment was spotlessly clean, with lovely bedding and towels, we even had a choice of blankets or summer or winter tog duvets. You don't have that choice in many places. Communication with Jill was excellent, she answered all our questions promptly by email or over the telephone and arranged transport for us with Wembleys, the taxi company who were brilliant. The Apartment had beautiful views from the roof terrace, there are also 4 other small balconies with different views. The weather was dry and sunny while we were there which was a bonus. It was cold in the evening, but it was only March,we were prepared for that and took warm coats. The Apartment has 2 portable oil fired radiators which were very efficient . The Strand is only 2 minutes walk from the Apartment, where there are excellent restaurants, our favourite one is Portopalo, we also found a lovely little coffee shop on the strand which was part of the Bayview hotel, the cakes were delicious . The bus stops and the ferry stop to Valletta is on the strand only a few minutes walk from the Apartment. We used the local bus a lot to Valletta and further afield. We also did a harbour cruise and the north tour on one of the hop on hop off buses. We had an amazing holiday and would recomended the Apartment to anyone. We have recently returned from a week's holiday in Malta and had a wonderful time. We stayed in this beautiful apartment in Sliema. ( the photos do not do it justice ) The apartment is very central, only 3 minutes stroll to the sea front, with lovely walks along the strand. The apartment in on the 5th floor which is serviced by a lift. Once in the apartment it is on two floors, the lounge, bedroom and bathroom are downstairs, while the kitchen/dining area is reached via a spiral staircase which then gives you access to a very large furnished roof terrace and also a small balcony with lovely views from both. The apartment is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The towels were soft and fluffy and the bed linen was lovely,with a choice of two different tog duvets or blankets if you prefered. You don't have that in many places. As we stayed in March we did not know what the weather would be like, it was sunny every day, with temperatures of about 16/17 degrees during the day, the evenings were cold, so a warm coat is recomended. The apartment had 2 portable oil fired radiators which we used in the evenings. I also took a hot water bottle, it came in very handy. We did not hire a car,it is so easy to get about on public transport,, we did a lot in the time we were there, we went to Valletta twice on the bus, then one day caught another bus from Valletta to Marsaxlokk which is a pretty little fishing village, well worth a visit Another day we went on the hop on hop off bus and did the north tour which included Mosta and Mdina,that was very enjoyable. We also did a harbour cruise which was very interesting, Malta is steeped in history and the architecture is amazing. We found Sliema to be an excellent place to stay,there are some lovely restaurants, (our favourite is Portopalo on the strand) delightful coffee shops, the one in the Bayview Hotel did the most amazing cakes and for shopaholics there are lots of clothes shops including M and S and Mothercare to name a few. We had a fantastic holiday, the people are lovely,the apartment was all that we wanted and more, we would certainly recomended it, the booking was so easy, Jill was so helpful, answering all our questions before we left, she even arranged our airport taxis for us, (she uses Wembleys, they were excellent) Thank you Jill for all your help and for sharing your beautiful home with us. Dear Jill, Thank-you so much for welcoming us to your beautiful home. My Husband and I were greeted at the airport by a lovely man who welcomed us to Malta and drove us to the apartment. Once there we found the building easily accessible and were blown away by the beautifully decorated two storey penthouse apartment with no fewer than FIVE, yes FIVE outdoor spaces. We fell in love with Malta and agreed we would move right in if we could! The views are stunning and we enjoyed cooking and eating out on the terrace as much as dining in the many good restaurants in the area. We enjoyed trips to Valletta (twice), Mdina and a long walk to via St Julians to Paceville and back again - taking everything in. Four days really isn't long enough! We were so impressed with Jill's kindness and great communication which also enabled us to have a stress free transaction.
