We had a wonderful stay in Rehoboth. This home was just as gorgeous and perfectly located as the listing indicated. We spent more time outside on the decks than we did inside. The kitchen was well stocked with more than the basics needed for a group of avid home cooks. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat.

The location of the property is awesome! And the views from the screened in porch can’t be beat. The rooms are definitely smaller in real life than what you see in the pictures. As others mentioned, there is a strong cat urine smell in the downstairs hall. The owners should consider replacing the flooring.

The house was nice, and a perfect location in Rehoboth. Beautiful views, close enough to the boardwalk and far enough from the crowded sections. We were able to walk to all restaurants and bars. Loved riding our bikes on the beautiful trails up to Lewes. The best part of the house was the screened in porch where we spent a lot of our time as a group. We all felt the house needed a more thorough cleaning. I found myself washing down walls and door frames when I arrived. There is also a lingering odor on the first floor at the bottom of the staircase, despite mopping and "frebreezing" multiple times. It is listed as sleeping 12 people and that is very generous. The bunk bed room is very tight and the pull out couch on the 2nd floor should not have been converted as another sleeping area because it takes away from the family room, which was small. All in all the house served its purpose and we all had a memorable vacation

House was great! Perfect location just north of the boardwalk. My favorite thing was the porches! Nothing like a beautiful sunrise with a cup of coffee and a book to start the day. Having the screened porches was perfect, especially in the evenings. Our family had a wonderful time and we hope to return again next year!

The Moondock is perfect located right at the quieter north end of the beach with a great deck overlooking the wave. A short walk to all the restaurants and stores in town. Lovely house. Another wonderful stay at the beach.

There's a pollen tree in full bloom in the front yard that landed pollen on all the porch floors and furniture and digital screens every 20 minutes. You might want to warn your April guests about this.
Paper goods were either not present or hard to find. The literature says the house is stocked. We found paper towels the first day and toilet paper the last day. No napkins or tissues. But the layout and furnishings and location of the house couldn't be better. I hope to bring my family again. Thank you.

The home itself is lovely—especially the master suite; but add to the interior space the AMAZING DECK SPACES, the PROXIMITY to both the beach and downtown Rehoboth, and the MAGNIFICENT VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS, and this rental far exceeded our expectations. This is the perfect combination of comfort and luxury.

Location was great, could not ask for a better spot. The house was clean and well decorated with plenty of space, the views are fantastic day and night. Great access to beach, boardwalk and shopping. We didn't receive check-in instructions and it doesn't note in the description that there are no sheets so we showed up late and it took over an hour to get into the house, then realized we had no bedding and had to run out. That may have been in the contracts we signed but I think the communication could be smoothed out.

Our family had such a wonderful vacation together at Moondock 1! We couldn’t stop raving about the views, the one block walk to the Boardwalk and the family gathering space, the screen porch. This is a must rent for your vacation at Rehoboth Beach. Also, we enjoyed our bike ride adventure to Henlopen State Park exploring nature and history . The only area that we see as a need for improvement are the beds in the twin bedroom . Maybe an upgrade would be great if this is an option . The owners have done a beautiful job renovating this home where we made wonderful memories! Thank you !

Great location, beautiful house. Our issue: The previous guests left behind an undeniable "pet smell", but the ReMax team was extremely proactive in doing everything possible to mitigate the smell and make us comfortable. By the end of our stay the smell was almost unnoticeable.

The Pines was a beautiful home with lots of features including a beautiful location. Unfortunately when we walked in the door the home smelled of cat urine. It was obvious the previous guest had a cat. Feces left behind on the top patio and a bedroom that was just over powering with urine smell. We determined that a rug was the one main reason and removed it so the remainder of stay was less offensive. We did report this to property management who was slow with any kind of response. So unfortunately the house was great but because of these issues we will not be returning.

The house is exactly as appeared in the photos. We had a lovely stay and the house has beautiful views of the ocean. House could use updates to include HD channels, but overall a very satisfying week at the beach! I highly recommend this house and will come back.

This is our second time staying at this property. The views from the enclosed decks are absolutely breathtaking. The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach and just a short walk to the boardwalk. We enjoyed our stay there again and recommend this property for young and old alike.

Wonderful property and location.
We loved the property. The only items we noticed that were not absolutely clean were the ceiling fans and the tops of some doors. :)
The master suite was huge and wonderful. Downstairs had four smaller bedrooms and only one bathroom so it was a bit challenging. There is another bathroom upstairs near the kitchen and living room.
We had very windy, rainy weather so were not able to use the lovely porches at all.
Also, we did have the smoke alarms go off twice in three days and the repairs were not made until the last day. I wish there had been a more immediate response to the issue. The alarms were very, very loud and we literally held our ears!
We would definitely go back again!

Unforgettable views from the oceanfront screened porch
We’ve rented this wonderful house multiple times since the year it was built. Our family loves to gather on the large screened porch for meals and “togetherness” time. The entrance to a beautiful life guarded less-crowded beach is right across the street. The boardwalk starts a block away. It’s a wonderful place for a family vacation.

We had a perfect time at this beach house. The house is well appointed with comfortable beds, lots of storage space, closets in every room, and a kitchen that has everything you need. The den space made a nice hangout space for the kids while the adults were in the main area. The kids’ room has thoughtful touches including a tv and a toy train. The master bedroom and bath are simply beautiful. The bathtub overlooking the ocean is a dream. But the real star of the house are the two beautiful porches overlooking the ocean with ample dining and lounging space. We spent the majority of our time there. The hammocks on the lower level were a perfect place to relax.
Be aware that linens are not included; you will need to bring or rent them. We opted for the rental package and it all went smoothly.
We did have a surprise when a small mouse turned up in the downstairs bathroom. The rental company responded right away and sent someone over to deal with it immediately.

Great location and deck views
Great location with easy access to the beach and great views from the screened in deck. We enjoyed hanging out and having meals on the deck. The bedrooms were nice, but the main living space was a bit cramped and could use more comfortable and updated furniture. Also some of the deck furniture was broken upon our arrival. This should be inspected and the pieces that are broken or close to wearing out should be replaced. Despite this, overall a good stay.

Wonderful stay!!
We had an amazing time at Moon Dock. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Super clean! The location cannot be beat. Steps from the beach and a block to the boardwalk. We had a 4 year old, 85 year old and pregnant lady and we could all get around! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay near the beach and relax but can still access the main boardwalk zone and restaurants. Communication was flawless and easy. Overall a great stay and I am already looking to book again !
