Good location. Walking distance from everything.

Could use some renovation for the price paid.

The location was great - we walked everywhere. We had a few questions but customer service was great - always got a prompt response.

We knew it would be cramped for 5 but the main issue was that the bed settee was quite uncomfortable for two adults.

The location was wonderful, situated amongst the famous brownstone homes easy walk from Back Bay station with luggage. Close to the John Hynes Convention centre which was the purpose of my trip. Well equipped kitchen to cook proper meals. Nearby supermarket and wine emporium.

The bathroom is in need of renovation, taps a little loose. A spiral staircase separates kitchen/living to the bedrooms and bathroom on the lower level this wasn't an issue for us but for anyone with mobility issues it may not be suitable. It was difficult to manoeuvre heavy luggage down the staircase.

Location was great, about half a mile from the marathon finish line.

The carpet in the downstairs was very old and worn, and bunched up in places.

The livingroom and kitchen open plan area was clean and adequate.

The entrance was difficult to find. No light outside to assist with entering lock codes. The entire carpeted area in the lower level was heavily stained. Screen at French Door was damaged. Large picture in small bedroom overwhelmed the room. Beds were clean but rooms had an overall shabby appearance. Rusted air condition vents which did not appear to be working. Floor air conditioner was not vented to the outside - hose was just resting on the window sill. Towels were dingy and worn. Bathroom was clean but dated.

Location was great. Cleaning crew was just leaving and were helpful in giving us the lay of the land. The upstairs was great.

The rugs on the lower floor were old and dirty and need to be replaced. The electric baseboards were dirty and the one near the bathroom is falling apart. Bathroom was fine.

We liked that the property was centrally located and that it was clean.

We weren't aware ahead of time that parking would be an issue, since street parking is limited to neighborhood permits. Also, the toilet broke the first night, which was unfortunate. Host was responsive, and fixed it next day, but it immediately broke again. Definitely a serious issue that negatively affected our trip.
