Ease to get to as its barley a 5 min walk to the #25 bus taking one straight to Blair station. Full kitchen is helpful as there aren't that many restaurants in the area. Host was very accommodating

Due to it being a basement apartment there was noticeably considerable noise from the upstairs residence. Due to the unseasonable weather at the time the rooms needed heating up however the "ROOM HEATERS" ONLY GAVE OUT COLD AIR:)

Closer to downtown

- Spacious, well-equipped basement apartment in quiet neighborhood. - Everything was clean and organized. - Our kids loved the fitness equipment (stationary bike). - Some previous guests criticized the very hard matrasses, they are indeed extra hard but we really liked them.

- While this property was advertised for Ottawa, actually it is a 15-20 min drive from Ottawa. - The toilet did not flush well all the time, once it even had an overflow, which is not a nice experience... - One night, the owners invited friends over, who were quite loud until 10 p.m. This is not a big deal if you travel as an adult but if you have small kids you want to put to bed at 8 p.m., then it is a hassle.

The apartment was spacious and clean. Was well equipped with kitchen amenities, hair dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner, etc. Also liked that it was smoke free and pet free. No allergy issues for me.

Some repair/renovation work needed to give it more of a five star feel, but the price was very reasonable so I don’t want sound like I’m complaining. We got good value for what we paid.

The apartment was spacious and equipped with essential amenities. It was nice to find extra blankets for I felt cold with just one layer. It was great to have a kitchen with a kettle and a microwave.

The light on the wall in one of the bedrooms was not working. I wanted to leave that light on as a night light since I had a baby.

We hosts were very nice. Glad we got to meet them. Apartment had plenty of space for the five of us We didn't spend much time in the apartment. Most if the time, we were out and about. There's a Starbucks and supermarket nearby. Drug store around the corner. Bus line (#15) to Parliament leaves from behind the house. 15 min car ride into downtown Ottawa. Very good value for money.

It was very central to everything you need during your stay. The owner was terrific and quick to answer any questions.

Not much to not like. Practical basement apartment.
