If we had needed it there was an iron and the board, a full kitchen and the location fit our needs. There was also a couple of boogie boards for a little beach fun; nice touch. It was clean and ready for occupancy, i.e the little refrigerator was on. We were in town for a wedding reception so our weekend was planned for us. The happy couple, my daughter, lives just a block away.

The chairs were not comfortable, no place to eat, no table, the wifi was told to us incorrectly, that took awhile to figure out. When we arrived the information I had to allow us into the front door mysteriously disappeared from my email and when I called for help no one answered. Parking was not great. No bathroom counter to put things on; even though you've tried to provide a shelf option you've put a plant on it. I believe the bed is a full, not a queen, that was a surprise. The refrigerator needs defrosting.

The location is unbeatable, right in the centre of Santa Monica, only a couple of blocks from the ocean. Shops, restaurants, cafes, all literally at our doorstep.

Great location! 5 mins from the beach, near some nice restaurants too!

Caution! Do not book this apartment....just dont do it! It is a shame and a scam that this apartment is available to book on Booking.com. The whole apartment smells of cigarette and cannabis smoke - it is dirty and stinks. In addition, it is noisy, noisy and noisy again around the clock 7 days a week - you constantly have all sorts of annoying noises. Even with the windows closed, the noises are extremely loud. We booked the apartment for 5 nights and left early after just one night and booked another accommodation. This has never happened to us before! This was the worst accommodation we have ever had! The owner is extremely unfriendly, makes promises and does not keep them. The worst we have ever experienced. It is an absolute cheek to rent this apartment to travelers and despite multiple complaints we have not received a refund. Absolutely caution! This is a scam and do not be fooled!

Very nice place. Everything we needed to cook.Everything was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Great area for shopping and walking. Very close to the pier and beach. Great communication with the host. We are looking forward to going back soon.
