Warm Comfort In a great location, great breakfast [not over facing]

Perfect location, spotless rooms and property overall, lovely brekkie with friendly service, good value for money, toasty warm and comfortable rooms.

A hairdryer in the room would have been great post hike shower etc! And maybe some kind of info book in the rooms of where to eat etc.

Beds were super comfortable, rooms were clean and it was lovely and warm when we arrived.

Breakfast was served between 8-9am which was too late for many of us to eat and get to the start of our walk by 8.30. They did put a sandwich up for us to take away but 7.30 breakfast would have been better.

Alpine Lodge is in a good location, easy walk to dining, shops, station. On-site parking is a bonus, although very tight spots. Our room (2nd floor, front) had lovely windows, unfortunately they only opened a tiny amount so air flow was small. The bonus is that there is a good pedestal fan provided. Our room was spotless, freshly painted and everything in good order. There were two comfortable chairs, another big bonus. The bed was wonderful, best on our trip. The contactless check in works well. Breakfast is fabulous and our hosts always friendly and helpful, a cheery start to the day.

The wifi didn’t connect in our room so we used our own network. I think if we’d asked help would have been forthcoming.

Breakfast was great, location was good for climbing Snowdonia

Room was hot, windows open on a busy road so noisy and people in next room could be heard

Would be nice if there was a small fridge in the room especially during summer
