Très jolie petit bungalow, très bien climatisé. Claudia , la propriétaire est sympathique et avenante. Elle nous a apporté de délicieux fruits de son jardin.

Cozy, friendly host, everything like the supermarket and petrol station is close by. Sea swimming pool is just a few minutes by car too. place is well done and air condition works!

found a tiny little cockroach that we got rid off. It happens everywhere though and it was a one off.

Nice clean property in middle of town. Nice owners. Enjoyed my stay after I got in.

Getting access to the property was rather tricky. Be sure to have a New Caledonia SIM card, or drop by the owners BEFORE you hit Koumac when coming from Bourail. The property is a tiny bungalow in town (a bed sit really). The owners do not live near the property though. They have their phone number on a sign at the property. The idea is you call them when you arrive and they'll come and let you in. Problem for me was that I didn't have a SIM card, because I had arrived the night before and it was Saturday, so had not had a chance to buy a SIM card. Whilst staring at this phone number, I found a message on my phone from the owners to come to their home, about 6km out of town towards Bourail (in Google Maps or maps.me, search for "Chez Pascal et Claudia"). Did that, and the husband took me back to the bungalow and gave me the key. Nice person, spoke some English. Once this was all done, I had a lovely stay. So if you're going to stay here, either be sure to have a New Caledonia SIM card, or search Google Maps or maps.me for "Chez Pascal et Claudia" before you head to Koumac and drop by the owners during check in hours (as shown in Booking.com).

Good location within walking distance of a good supermarket. Claudia our host was very friendly. Very clear communication about the unit and replies to messages very quickly. Introduced herself and checked we had all we needed. Room is compact but has all you need for a stay. Good base to stay exploring the north of New Caledonia. We enjoyed our stay very much and we loved the little cat that visited us each day. Thank you Claudia.
