Clean, modern, nice comfortable room. Great helpful staff with English widely spoken.
Food was generally of a poor standard though breakfast was usually ok.

The room was very ample for what we required.
We didn't come for a beach holiday so that question doesn't apply.
The breakfast was exceptional and a good variety for every taste bud.
Would like to also mention that all the staffing personnel were very helpful. A special mention for "Claudia" in the restaurant who always had time to answer any questions we had.
On arrival we were aware that there was an additional charge to hire the in-room safety deposit box.
A key was supplied but to charge 11.50EUROS per night represented nothing more than a thinly veiled money making mechanism. No holiday maker wants to take their Passport, Excessive cash and credit cards with them everywhere, or in fact car and house keys. To simply put additional charge on the booking page is not being transparent enough.

Cuando escaló nuestra queja, el hotel demostró capacidad de reacción y se preocuparon porque nuestra estancia en el otro hotel fuera lo mejor posible.
Tres días antes del viaje nos indicaron que las dos habitaciones que habíamos reservado (para dos familias con niños) no estaban disponibles. No nos especificaron los motivos (imagino que overbooking) y tuvimos que cambiar a otro hotel de la cadena, en otra zona de la isla. Por lo tanto no puedo valorar el Globales Cala Bona más que por esta experiencia.
