Doxford Hall Hotel And Spa

Beautiful building and amazing grounds.

The building and grounds are delightful. I love the multiple reception rooms.

We were there with a group and one of our group suffered with a dog whining and barking. It had been left in the room on its own. There was also a dog altercation one evening. This put a "downer" on the weekend but one thing that surprised me was at breakfast on our last day. It took 3 attempts to get some brown sauce to accompany breakfast. One couple had finished their cooked breakfast before it arrived. I ended up making my 3rd request in front of a supervisor type person which proved successful. The original request went to an older woman who was taking orders, when we could get her attention. It took an uneccessarily louder request to get her attention.

Beautiful gardens large comfortable rooms staff were excellent all facilities in spa working

Can't think of anything i did not like

Nice location. Room was spacious and clean.

Location of room meant no room service was available. Had to go searching for staff on several occasions.
