Good location, easy to find hotel, near the metro and main shopping areas. Check in was OK. Breakfast was OK with some variety - helpful staff at breakfast.

The room was tiny for a premium rate and needs some updates and improvements in comfort (noise from neighbors, cleaning only done partially, 3 coat hangers in the small wardrobe, dirty and scuffed walls, parasol on the terrace was broken, door that would only slam shut). We stayed in a terrace room in an "annex" on the top floor. Access was via a service area and a slow service lift in a building conjoined with the hotel. Bad smells in the lift, service area and room. The terrace was 3 times larger than the room, but the room was dark and not very pleasant to relax in.

Staff were great. Had a technical issue in room , the respond was great and maintenance fixed issue

No Ability to prepare a tea/coffee in room

Location so as awesome for exploring the city (easy to jump on the metro at Gran Via station). Having 4 beds and the fact that 1 larger bed was on its own in a separate room was great for our family of 4. In 1 room there was a twin and a bunk bed with a bit of safety on the top bunk (not enough that I’d put a kid under 8 up there). The room was clean. The soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were in larger bottles that stay at the hotel but they were nice. The breakfast was a buffet with an excellent assortment of fruit, vegetable, Tortilla de potata, yogurt, chia pudding, pastries, fresh juice, coffee, and tea. The cleaning staff and front desk were so helpful. We had an issue with our credit card and needed to call and they let us call from the phone at the front desk.

My partner felt like the room and bathroom needed updating but I thought they were fine. Wish it had been a bit cheaper.
