Emplacement idéal, à proximité des incontournables et du métro. Petit déjeuner avec pas mal de fruits frais.

Aucune intimité pour la SDB et WC. Mauvaise insonorisation . La place était en travaux donc pas mal de bruits.

The staff was extremely helpful in finding me an alternative hotel.

First, there was heavy-duty construction going on in the plaza in front of the hotel, apparently for quite a time, that began before 8am and continued until after 5pm. This made it impossible to stay at the hotel and forced me to change to another of their hotels in the same neighborhood although it was of a lower category (3 stars), with a smaller room, for the same price as the 4 star hotel I booked and paid for. There was no indication of this anywhere in their listing. The room was on the top floor, just below the roof. It had a steeply inclined ceiling which meant that I had to stoop in order to not bang my head on the ceiling beams. The bathroom was up three steps, which made using it (especially during the night) VERY inconvenient. The wall of the bathroom is of glass. This means that if you use it during the night and turn the light on, the other person wakes up.

The location is simply fantastic; walking distance to most Madrid attractions. Also the staff were extremely helpful in providing tips to Madrid.

The fact that major roadworks are being carried out, just next to the hotel was not disclosed prior to our stay. Also the hotel's common areas (reception, breakfast room) are quite small.
