Heathcote Hotel Manchester

The art deco style decor is lovely and the room was very spacious. The staff were welcoming and attentive.

The room had a few maintenance issues - light bulbs required changing, the tv was not working properly and the bathroom floor was lifting up in places. We reported these issues as constructive criticism to the staff and understand that the hotel is undergoing a programme of improvements.

The room was massive and so comfortable. Bed was perfect, as was the shower. Really, above all, Omar on reception made our stay great. Very curious, chatty and helpful!

So hotel building works ongoing, so bar and restaurant were shut . We were only informed the week before which didn't give us any time to change our booking. The toilet didn't flush, which we reported. Overall we did love it despite the problems.

Close to the shops and station.

TV didn’t work in that picture distorted and sound crackling and not understandable. Curtains at the window at the head of the bed had come off tracks and couldn’t be closed up. Went down for breakfast only to find the restaurant closed and a table containing tea and coffee in reception, on questioning why no breakfast they said they were starting to renovate the Brasserie and there was no food being served. The fast food takeouts around the hotel were definitely not suitable for breakfast. I was told a new Company had taken over and were “changing things”. Cleaning staff very thorough and very pleasant.

Very nice room and bathroom

Very noisy, I didn’t sleep very well unfortunately as I could hear the sirens from outside and then the room above moving furniture around and then at 4am I could hear the room above having inter course and then an hour later heels walking around the room above too.
