Great staff, rooms very clean, substantial breakfast, good location, good value for money.
Dinner menu a bit sparse, food was good though and quick service.
Would have liked some fruit, biscuits or cereal as a simple breakfast buffet. Everything had to be ordered from a menu.
Also a little background music at breakfast, far too quiet.

Bed was comfy, shower good. Staff friendly and food good.
We were in Room 5 but the floorboards in Room 4 were very creaky, so much so that when the person in Room 4 walked about it was as if they were actually inside our room. The floorboards were so noisy and we could also hear the person's conversation when they were on their phone so the dividing wall was probably also quite thin.
Apart from that everything else was ok for the price.

The place was lovely, well presented
The staff rushed off their feet, paid £30 for a steak for my partner that was full of fat , complained and nothing was taken off the bill. Said she had but £5 off and that was for the 3 course deal that I ate !!
Our room was number 4 right by the door at top of the stairs squeaked til 1 am and floorboards no sleep til then!
wanted to check out at 7 am, nowhere to put keys no one about and all doors locked til 8 am, this was a big let down !
