Great location overlooking the promenade. Very friendly staff.

Very basic continental breakfast.

Large rooms, lift access, large reception, communal area & good size bar.

Due to the age of the building there was no air conditioning. However, the sash windows and large blackout curtains work well.

Perfectly situated for easy access to the pier and the town. The decor was quite nice in the dining room and the hotel itself seemed pleasant enough.

Sadly some people got stuck in the lift quite late on the night I was there and then it was not in use so it was a pain for people with heavy cases who then had to carry them downstairs. The older man on reception would not serve anyone in the bar because of the lift issue, which was very unprofessional and we were told we had to go without, he was very stressed and swearing a lot and didn’t cope at all well when dealing with the other guests who wanted service at the bar… Maybe more staff would be a good idea as people were waiting for one person to assist in reception and serve at the bar?? As for breakfast, It’s just a continental option very basic and very expensive.

size of room was good along with the location

bath had bad limescale had to clean it. Telly didn't work properly(but didn't come to watch TV) Lift broke down
