Ramada Hong Kong Grand View

Location was great. The staff was cooperative. The hotel, though in the middle of a meat and fish market, was good. Rooms were big and adequately equipped with required elements. It was close to many restaurants and shops. and Overall a good experience.

We arrived early, so the person at the counter said the room will take a few hours to get ready and asked us to wait. After a little while, the duty hours changed and fresh set of staff took over. I went and asked the new person in the counter about our room. He said: You are waiting for your room? On saying yes, he immediately gave us our room. In do not understand why the previous person had asked us to wait for a "Few Hours".

For HK, the size of the room is definitely on the larger portion, cause the building is a bit dated. It is clean, Location is great and pretty good. The hotel is in front or near a wet street market, so you may have some fishy smelling streets to pass if you are walking around. All in all it is of great value for money.

The lobby smells like mould. The decorations in the room is a bit outdated and may need a little refresh.

Very good stay overall. The biggest highlight was definitely the view from the two-bedroom apartment — absolutely amazing, especially from the higher floors. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a short stay in Hong Kong. The main downside was the reception staff. They were not particularly helpful or attentive, and it sometimes felt like they were just doing the minimum rather than trying to assist guests properly. Still, because of the cleanliness, space, and especially the fantastic view, I would consider staying here again.
