Central location, folks running the place were very attentive. And if coming from the airport, have them arrange the driver as the ride is better and fee correct (taxis tried to rip us off).

Very clean. What really made the difference is that the staff were ALL super friendly and helpful. Providing tips on parking, sightseeing, even for the rest of Sicily. They made the breakfast there and they were amazing Sicilian recipes. Multiple wifi connections were available for each floors. Overall, very considerate staff trying their best to accommodate their guests.

We were very skeptical when we first arrived. Cars and scooters double parked on the one way street made unloading the car very difficult. The reception was on the third floor and the elevator was very old-fashioned. Parking was hard to find. BUT the staff were all exceptionally helpful with the situation.

Excellent service. I requested an upgrade as it was my wife's birthday. We received complimentary upgrade to a suite and also a bottle of bubbly with birthday card was left in the room. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was exceptional, the best I have had in Italy. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Alma Hotel was great from start to finish. The hotel is ideally located, every single staff is very welcoming and friendly. The room is brand new, very modern and clean, the bathroom is just great. The breakfast has delicious sicilian homemade cakes of all sorts. There is a reason why this hotel is so well rated, it is definitely the top hotel to reserve!

Amazing hospitality by the owners! They are always ready to help regarding any of your concerns or queries and the service during the breakfast is exceptional as well. Location is great, very close to the key tourist attractions.

The building is in a busy street, so can get a little noisy at night. But the location, hospitality, value for money and cleanliness makes up for it.

Paolo and Antonella (the owners) are like your Italian family welcoming you home. We went there in October and felt very safe (corona wise): the staff applies very strict hygiene rules (disinfecting keys, breakfast is served in the room, staff is tested 2x/month for covid19,..). Due to a medical issue we had to stay longer in Palermo, and they went out of their way to help us by not only being extremely flexible with the multiple extensions of our stay, but even arranging an appointment for a covid19 test for me to be able to visit my father in the hospital. I am eternally grateful and wouldn't go anywhere else in Palermo, strongly recommend!

Our hosts went out of their way to upgrade our room to a suite because we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. They even gave us a bottle of champagne for the occasion. Wonderful people!

Very noisy street below our room until early hours of the morning but that is to be expected in Palermo I guess.

The road below is very noisy and the windows old. Bring earplugs if you book a room facing the road.
