Enjoyed our stay so much! There was plenty of room for us and a toddler with convenient access to the town. We'll definitely stay again!

This cabin is absolutely perfect! Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed. We stayed Friday-Sunday for a weekend getaway/visit to Tweestie Christmas. Would 100% recommend to anyone! The hosts were also very kind as well!
We will definitely return in the future!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location! It was just up the mountain from blowing rock where there were a number of tasty restaurants, craft breweries, and wineries! Definitely suggest 4 wheel drive or AWD as the home is off of paved roads! Even in non winter months.

We did not use the upstairs BR at all. The downstairs bed was slanted downhill toward the head so I fixed it with pillows. The lights on the lower side of the house where the pit and other parking space are were not working. Too dark to try to go down small steps or move around. Back porch was nice. Stove fireplace heated the cabin very well. Parking was not the best as we had to go on up the hill, turn around to come back down & back into the upper parking spot. The shower needed a mat as it was slippery.

The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet. The driveway was a little tricky, but overall it rated a 10 out of 10. Very glad we stayed there.

Great cabin in a secluded area. Perfect for those wanting to get away and enjoy some quiet time. Blowing Rock is just a few minutes away and Boone is only a 20 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect fairly secluded cabin nestled in the trees. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
My husband lost the keys to the cabin when we were ATVing in the mountains. Called Blake and he quickly brought us another key on a Saturday afternoon. We were so grateful for this.
Highly recommend this cabin if you want somewhere to relax!

It was a wonderful stay, the cabin was great for us. A person that was to come did not, so my wife and I just stayed downstairs. It was perfect for us. We really got to know the Blowing Rock area. Everything is there for cooking but this was my birthday gift, so no cooking was done. Cereal for breakfast 3 of the days and off we would go for the day. The back porch is very nice to come back to after a day of hiking to relax alittle, than off to dinner

Our favorite part of this entire experience was how private it is. We were there for two weeks. Only sounds we heard were over July 4th. The beautiful laughs of children with their parents at the closest house. The next day it was quiet again. We had deer visit five times and saw Turkeys on our way into town. The back way to Boone is another plus. Beautiful overlooks we will never forget. We had some rain so hearing the beautiful sound of the running creeks was mesmerizing. We hope to come back. Thank you Kristen and Blake.

The log cabin was clean, well-appointed and had everything thing we needed. Loved the layout, perfect size for our family of 5 and our elderly dog. It was convenient to Blowing Rock’s park, which our almost-3 year old grandson loved, as well as to Tweetsie. We took him to ride Thomas the Train and it was the perfect weekend. Loved having a relaxing breakfast and supper on the large screened-in porch. Very quiet and peaceful!

Beautiful cabin with everything you need to enjoy your visit to the Blowing Rock/Boone area. The kitchen was well stocked with the items needed to prepare most meals. The listing is a fair and accurate depiction of the cabin and amenities. The area was perfect for us, a secluded feel, but a short and simple drive into town. Would definitely stay there again.

We wanted to get away from all the noise and pace of the city and found this cabin to be perfect! The host gave us all the information and suggestions we needed. It was the perfect trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin in the woods! With two young kids (5 and 2), we had a great space for them in the loft are and were able to comfortably explore around the cabin grounds. Nothing beats an indoor fireplace and the beauty of this was unmatched! It brought us all to easier, simpler times which is exactly why we wanted to go here in the first place!

This is a great property and one that should be on the list for couples or small groups wanting a quick visit to the Blowing Rock area without the fuss of staying downtown. It is a really easy drive into town and yet you feel like you’ve gotten away from it all! We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and the host was very responsive throughout the process. We look forward to a return visit!

We had an amazing Thanksgiving in the mountains. The cabin was isolated but also close to everything. The owners were fast to communicate and very welcoming. The cabin supplied everything we needed during our trip. We definitely will stay again in the future!

Although it rained almost the whole weekend, we still enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and we liked the wood stove and screened in back deck. We would definitely recommend this cabin. Thanks for letting us stay.

This was the perfect size property for us and a great location with beautiful fall colors surrounding the cabin. It was so close to everything but felt secluded out in the mountains. Our favorite part was the porch!!

Great location away from everything, but close enough to not feel isolated. The cabin is just how it was described. Kirsten was quick to answer questions. Great experience!

We wanted to get away to a secluded cabin in the mountains to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this property fulfilled all of our expectations.
It’s located close to Blowing Rock and some area hiking trails and attractions. Wonderful restaurants were within 10 minutes but this cabin is also well equipped for preparing meals while enjoying peace and quiet while surrounded by beautiful nature.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and went home with some wonderful memories. We are very grateful for this opportunity!

It was a very secluded getaway if you want peace and quiet. Due to being in the mountains, the internet and satellite was very sporadic. The cabins was well maintained, clean and it provide all the basic necessities that were needed. The road to the cabin was a lot more difficult to maneuver than we expected but overall the experience was great.

We enjoyed the cabin. It is about 12 minutes from Blowing Rock. You drive about a mile on a gravel road then up a pretty steep drive. We chose to back in the lower entrance as the upper one was tricky to back out of. The creek could be heard from the back screened porch (loved the sound). There were plenty of towels, and the kitchen had about anything one might need.We looked for a owners book of cabin instructions with TV instructions for the Roku TV, but could not find one. The owners were quick to respond with directions. We had to contact the owner with a problem with the AC. The owner came by within 20 minutes, and tried to diagnose the problem, and had already called a repair person. Overall, we enjoyed the cabin ( and loved not seeing or hearing any neighbors. I think one other cabin may have been on up the driveway). If I would have changed anything it would be to update furnishings, and replace the king mattress that would slightly sag toward the center. For us, the distance to Blowing Rock was just right. You felt the serenity, and were downtown in a few minutes. Our interaction with the owners was super!

We loved the cabin. It was beautiful. The grill was great. We cooked out a few nights. We are thinking about coming back next year for the same event. Will definitely consider renting the cabin again.

Little cabin in the wood
The cabin was perfect, and even better than we had hoped. We were surrounded by trees and could not see any neighbors. On rare occasions we could hear the nearest neighbor in the distance.
We generally went on an activity in the morning and came back to the cabin for lunch and afternoon rest. The minisplits were great air conditioning. We ate all our meals at the cabin and the cookware was adequate. There is a Food Lion in Blowing Rock and a Publix in Boone.
We loved being such a short distance from hikes on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our favorite walks were at the Cone Memorial property.

Overall we didn’t want to leave, we really enjoyed the absolute solidarity of the cabin and mountain. The stream below made for a very relaxing mood. I 100 % recommend this place. The perfect get away!!!!

We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed. There was a wonderful screened in back porch to enjoy the evening air. The property is very private and the area was quiet. The owners reached out more than once to make sure we were set. We had toddlers with us and we had to be very careful as there were steep drop offs along one side of the property, but this is the mountains after all and such is to be expected. It was a little hard navigating out of the driveway onto the one lane gravel road leading to the property.
